Nesting Software

ATOM designs and updates their nesting software in house. When you purchase an ATOM cutting system you are buying the complete package all designed and built in house by ATOM engineers. There are currently two types of software available: one for leather cutting only and the other for gaskets, foams and similar materials. When cutting leather, the operations the hide loading and the collection of the cut pieces are assisted by an off-line Intelliview System. With the Intelliview System you can automatically detect the useable and unuseable parts of the hide. In addition, you can mark the areas of the hide rating them from poor to excellent quality. After the hide is marked, the operator converts the marked area into the integrated nesting system savings companies 3-15% in leather.ATOM designed a software for the cutting of gaskets, foams and similar materials. The nesting software is manually or automatically operated for the optimized layplanning of patterns. The highly efficient "shape within shape" nesting allows for maximum material yield and production. In addition, this software offers a unique remainder cutting feature.
